Interesting take on amonaly games, but I can't recommend this. - you have to inspect several objects actively, makes it chorey. - you have to return to the starting point always. With an anomaly game I would just want to look mostly. 2D could probably work, but it limits the visuals greatly. Since there is hardly a story, at least not in focus, 2D is a handicap. A cute little 2d anomaly game. You start each day in your bed and walk through the house, then answer the question: "is there something strange?" It's a bit too easy, since that "something strange" is often a monster, so not really easy to miss. The English translation isn't perfect either, but does its job. The art is very nice. There are multiple endings, at least two, because that's how many I got, and there's no list of endings. I have no idea how the ending is decided; I just played through the game twice normally without doing anything special and got a different ending each time. Perhaps it depends on which diary entries you read, but they seem appear randomly. The game isn't anything revolutionary by any means, but it's fun enough for the price and length (~1 hour). Anomaly games like Exit 8 and Shinkansen 0, but in 2D. This game is very simple, just look for strange things or anomalies in each room. It really relies on your memory and keen eyes. The game isn't too long either, you can play it in one sitting in less than an hour, perfect for killing some free time. But if you want to find all the anomalies, it'll take more than an hour to replay the game from the beginning. I'm still curious about Diary Number 12 because it hasn't appeared or been seen yet. I've only gotten Ending 2 and still need to play more to find all the anomalies and the diary.

Nights in Endless Dream is an anomaly game, I enjoy this kind of game altough mostly watching streamers speedrunning anomaly game. There's some features that I like, 1. I like how the camera moves during an interaction 2. Some anomaly are weird and borderline scary 3. I like that theres a diary for every day it passed There's also some feature that would build the game more 1. The intro needed some audio effect and not just a text 2. Would love to actually make some anomalies really tense and affect the storyline 3. There should be a scene if you made a mistake, some kind of nightmare? currently its just reset For the diary system, it felt like its random? It doesnt seems to be written by how the anomaly occured for that day or the previous, if it were then I think it would add to the storyline and make it more interesting Overall its a solid anomaly game

highly recommend this game. the art style and side scrolling makes this such an unsettling horror game. the anomalies i found were pretty creepy. the only thing i wish , is that if we already found an anomaly it would stop appearing until you've unlocked all of them. after running multiple loops over and over i was still not able to see every anomaly and still missing 1 diary page. outside of that the game is really good and i highly recommend it.

Love it. Very cute look. Different to a lot of other anomaly games. It’s fun and has me questioning my sanity at times lol.
