Follow My Steps

AN EMOTIONAL AND DREAMLIKE ADVENTURE

Follow My Steps is a narrative open world RPG blending exploration, stealth, magical combat, and impactful moral choices.
Play as Sova, protect and raise Lou, your wolf pup. Together, forge a unique bond that will shape your journey and lead to one of its many endings. Sova is neither a chosen one nor a warrior. She is a mother. And her world is falling apart. When faced with the unknown, you’ll need to learn how to survive, guide, love… and sometimes sacrifice. Lou watches everything, and each choice will leave a mark on him. The open world waiting for you won’t let you rest. Creatures prowl, ruins whisper forgotten truths, and the shadow of the Midnight Pack grows. You’ll have to run, fight, or hide. The choice is yours.
Will you follow your heart, your instincts… or your emotions? Will you protect Lou from danger or teach him how to face it?

MAGIC AND COMBAT

• Master up to six elemental powers.
• Strengthen your abilities with an alchemy system offering permanent bonuses.
• Embrace balance or chaos by walking the path of Dawn or Dusk.
• Adapt your strategies to protect Lou the best you can.

"She hated magic because of that secret buried deep inside her for years. Every lie she told her child was another bar in the prison of her denial."

EXPLORATION

• Roam a rich open world full of atmosphere: haunted forests, forgotten ruins, silent clearings, snowy steppes, caves filled with buried secrets…
• Forget minimaps and rediscover the joy of observing your environment.
• Dig into the ground to uncover rare items, clues, leads, and hidden areas.
• The path is never marked: it’s buried in the landscapes and encounters. Every place you visit shapes your own interpretation of the world’s story… and of Sova’s past.

"Suddenly, the world opened up to Lou. A world Sova had abandoned, but that never forgot her."

STEALTH AND SURVIVAL

• Activate your wolf senses to detect threats, track scents, and mark enemies.
• Watch where the wind carries your scent and be mindful of the noises you make to stay unseen or lay an ambush.
• Choose your approach: silent infiltration, tactical retreat, or direct confrontation.
• In the silence of the hunt, every step is a decision, every breath a risk when Lou follows in your footsteps…

"Haunted by her past, she runs. The ground rushes beneath her paws, the frightened breath of her child right behind her. She flees the Midnight Pack. She flees her demons."

NARRATIVE AND CHOICES

• The world doesn’t explain its past. Feel, interpret, and uncover its story woven from ancient legends, forgotten beliefs, and hidden secrets.
• Build relationships with others: a single word can save a life, a broken promise can turn an ally into an enemy.
• Make meaningful, moral, emotional, or strategic decisions, and face the consequences to the end.
• The results of your choices, sometimes obvious, sometimes invisible, will lead you to one of 27 different endings… Which one awaits you?

"In Follow My Steps, you don’t play a powerful hero. You play a parent, a friend, a mother, a wolf. You feel fear, pride, love, doubt. You raise a soul."
