Fractured Voyage

"Fractured Voyage" is a godawfully bad, failed attempt to make a ripoff of Terraria, only worse in every respect. What do you do in the game? Well, it's Terraria from Temu (just kidding, this is so bad even Temu wouldn't sell it), but without most of the features, even worse graphics, and you're on an alien planet. You would certainly have to be on an alien planet to think this is worth the eye watering $5 the developer seriously thought people were going to pay for this (don't laugh, it's true, I checked the price history, it's hilarious). This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. I think the game has a ton of potential but it crashes a ton. It also has a odd control scheme where many times you will put down a torch or item and then travel away but pick the item back up instead. It initially gave me aground vibes but after playing for a bit it has left me wanting a better interface. I appreciate the attempt.

got this game because it was in the "open world survivalcraft" category as well as free. it is a fun 15 - 25 minute game with a few bugs. not much to do other then survive and hit the win button but still entertaining. also dig straight down.
