红线 is an interesting science fiction card game that I found appealing because it combines turn based combat with a story about containing strange anomalous creatures. I play as the director of a containment facility in Antarctica, and my job is to deal with escaped entities while uncovering what is really happening. I liked the setting because the isolated facility gives the whole adventure a natural feeling of tension. The card combat is straightforward but enjoyable. I start with a basic deck and gradually add new cards as I defeat enemies and experience events. I liked being able to shape the deck around different play styles because the choices I make during the run have a direct effect on how future encounters feel. Extra items also provide useful bonuses, giving me another way to strengthen my strategy. The event system is important because the game is not just a series of battles. I have to make decisions as I move through the story, and those choices can affect what happens later.
