勇之证 is a small roguelite that follows a very familiar formula. You enter a dangerous castle, fight groups of monsters, collect better gear, choose upgrades, and try to survive as long as possible. If you have played games like Vampire Survivors, Hades, or other action roguelites, you will probably understand the idea quickly. The good thing about the game is that the basic gameplay loop works. Fighting enemies, getting new equipment, and making a stronger build each run is a formula that can be very addictive when done well. The random blessings and equipment system give you reasons to try different combinations instead of playing the exact same way every time. The top-down view fits this type of game nicely. It keeps the action easy to understand, and having randomly generated rooms should help stop every run from feeling exactly the same. The fact that it is free-to-play also makes it easier to recommend trying because there is no cost to see if the gameplay suits you. However, the biggest problem is that the game does not seem to do much that makes it stand out yet. The roguelite genre is already full of strong games, and simply having random upgrades and enemies is not enoug…
