В общем и целом, Ghosts'n DJs - это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет хардкорный платформер с оригинальной концепцией и запоминающимся саундтреком. Будьте готовы умирать часто, но не сдавайтесь – оно того стоит!

I love it! Pure retro hommage to Ghouls'N Ghosts, with a very similar gameplay. And yes, I mean Ghouls'N Ghosts, not Super Ghouls'N Ghosts, not Ghosts'N Goblins. You can shoot upwards, and downwards while jumping. Like the OG, it's a bit difficult at first, but then it becomes really enjoyable. Weapons and the super power behaves differently from GnG which give a nice twist and a different approach. Only downside is that it is quite short BUT it's totally FREE, so just enjoy it.

Very close to a good game, decent for free, still not worth installing. Input is wonky, it has you climbing and platforming but the jumping to and grabbing on ladders/ropes is poor because you can't control the jump in the air. Items are located in the record boxes but you have no idea of knowing that until you shoot it 5 times after you wonder why record boxes are everywhere and shooting/jumping don't do anything(this is when all enemies die in 1 hit. Most enemies often can be ignored and pose no threat, should rise out of the ground faster to present more of a challenge. Flying enemies have odd behavior and just fly by you then go off screen before returning out of nowhere. Spent more time falling from missed jumps and just running than any actual platforming or killing enemies. It's free so might as well check it out, but sitting at 89% when it's more deserving of a 65-75%, still not going to recommend.

Ghosts'n DJs is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. At face value this is obviously a ripoff of Ghosts'n'Goblins which you'll remember from arcades and early home computers like the Commodore 64, only worse in every respect and targetted at zoomers, who will have no idea what an arcade or a Commodore 64 are, and featuring music from a literally unheard of hip hop music mutilator... so this godawful pixelcrap has the double pronged effect of making both video games AND music much, much worse than it was before it existed. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visu…
