About Giant Horse Feeding

GIANT HORSE FEEDING. WHAT?

 • 1. Feed a horse
 • 2. Collect its droppings
 • 3. Build an alien empire.
What began as a simple waste management solution quickly spiraled out of control.Your civilization has discovered the ultimate renewable resource: horse droppings. Feed the horse, collect the results, and transform them into everything your alien empire needs. Build machinery, unlock strange technologies, automate production chains, and create a self-sustaining ecosystem powered entirely by recycled poop.

Every (smelly) pile brings progress.

Construct alien factories to process droppings into valuable materials. Expand your production lines, improve efficiency, and discover increasingly ridiculous ways to turn waste into wealth. The more you feed the horse, the more resources you gain. The more resources you gain, the more you can feed the horse. It's a beautiful (terrible) cycle.

Features:

• Feed your horse to generate the resource that powers your civilization• Build alien machinery and automated production systems• Unlock bizarre technologies and increasingly efficient recycling methods• Expand your empire through endless progression and upgrades• Watch a simple pile of poop evolve into an industrial powerhouse• Experience a surprisingly satisfying economy based entirely on horse droppings

I originally left some positive review because the core gameplay seemed fine at first, but I am changing this to a negative review. I reported several bugs a while ago in discussion and never got a single response from the developer. So I delete that and move them here on this review. It makes perfect sense now, considering the developer is currently on a challenge called Shipping 24 Games in 24 Months. Pumping out a new release every 30 days explains why this comes out feeling so unfinished and poorly made. Another issue is that this is tagged as an idler, which is misleading. You do get to buy foragers to collect resources for you, but you cannot leave the game unattended. If you step away to let it idle, wolves will come by and steal your foragers. It defeats the purpose of the genre. There are several bugs with character behavior and pathing that ruin the flow. One of the hunters gets permanently stuck in place, while two others will just wander off and get completely lost. Even if you restart the software, it does not resolve the issue, and they stay bugged when you reload your save. There is also a frustrating interaction with the wolves that feels broken. When a wolf stea…

Very basic, feels like a weekend hobby project Pros - Interesting idea Cons - Immature execution - Wolves randomly spawning with no way to deal with it aside from manual intervention promotes you to baby sit the game - Skill tree is incredibly skewed. The skillups are incredibly expensive and once you unlock it usually there's several incredibly cheap ones you can unlock at the same time. This results in a lot of plateuing in the gameplay while you babysit wolf spawning - No variety in things to do, there's literally a small handful of repetive upgrades you do at 3 camps

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Giant Horse Feeding: Another incremental hit by Jestercraft! A silly and creative idea, simple and enjoyable gameplay, great visuals and creature design, respect for the player's time, that's the recipe for success! <3 + I'm becoming a big fan of Jestercraft's short incremental games. They're all creative, cozy and have a pretty distinct personality. One thing Jestercraft is very good at, is designing cute and unique creatures (like the "horses" and the little helpers in this one). + Finally, a game about poop that isn't gross and/or a cashgrab. + Absurd, funny, deliciously silly and cute! + I like that you have automation, but also can "click to poop" and hunt sheep, wolves and domestic pigs. Idle and active gameplay are both enjoyable and rewarding. Good balance! - Last upgrade (which has the absolutely great name of "complete the game") is a bit long to obtain. While you don't really have to idle during the rest of the game, this last one feels like an unnecessary wait. - The save feature doesn't work for me. Each time I load a save, I have a flashing loading screen with an awful sound. But it looks like I'm the only one to encount…

You know, on the surface, the concept of a game about collecting horses h*t doesn't sound that appealing. But it is very catchy.
