Glimmer in Mirror

[h1]An unpolished, visually charming Platformer that wants to be a Metroidvania but ended up not being either[/h1] A solid platformer that is by no means revolutionary movement wise but plays well. I just wish for more. Bonus point for the accessibility feature of "Precise Jump" so you could choose between "press and let go" or just press. As I understand, this is intended for consistently nailing jumps—not my thing, but appreciated nonetheless. The upgrade system is cumbersome and hard to follow. This is probably related to the part that needs way more polish and care in my eyes, the UI/UX. The constant confirmation prompts are awkward and redundant. The "Echo" system in its current form, even if novel and interesting, is terribly presented to the player. I'd take that it's an EA game, and you usually don't know details of how you will make the player feel powerful by progressing the game. But as it is presented, it's quite hard to feel the impact of it, besides the "Doing more numbers means I should be doing better." Objectives are unclear and quite easy to have no clue of what to do. When will it be finished? Shori could walk faster. Better labels for each of the areas on the map would be helpful. Enjoyed it but I won't play again until it's finished AND it's the last time I buy an Early Access game. Why pay full price or more for half a game? Good job so far!

this game is definitely rough around the edges, the translation isnt perfect and the game definitely has its flaws, but as soon as i saw the first trailer i fell in love with the vibe. i played the first demo before release, and was active in the discord for a while. its so special to see a small team listen to feedback so well, they took the criticism they got to heart and made changes that help the game feel much much better.

This is super cool!! It reminded me of GrandChase back in the day. The jump height is so forgiving. The mobs are not too difficult or too easy. It's too relaxing bro, it's too good bro, partnered with the cute fmc and art style, clearly not a game made with the mindset of annoying people. The lore is rich and the challenges aren't as annoying as one might expect, in fact it's actually enjoyable. We need more of these.

Hey Guys, To be honest i am a little sad that the game is not finished yet, BUT i will wait for it as long as it takes, so dont worry ;) If you are a fan of sidescroller-games, i think you have to play it at least once. The colours and lovely details in every area are realy well made and will catch you since minute 1. I dont want to spoil to much from the storyline, but i can say that its not a simple girly-like game. I think this could go real deep. Hopefully we will see it as soon as possible where the developer and publisher want to go. =)
