Godsbane Idle

I’ll be honest: the first few days of Godsbane Idle had me fooled. I logged in, got showered with offline progress and shiny gear, and thought, “Wow, this is actually kinda nice.” Then the honeymoon ended faster than a mobile game marriage proposal. [b]The Great Waiting Simulator[/b] After about 30 minutes of actual gameplay (yes, minutes), I discovered Godsbane Idle’s true identity: [b]a waiting simulator wearing an RPG hat[/b]. Character builds? Irrelevant. Stats? Irrelevant. Strategy? Absolutely irrelevant. The only thing that matters is time. Time is your god. Bow before it. The most engaging part of the game is… not playing it. You close the game, go live your life, come back days later and boom—offline progress. It’s like the game is saying, “Please stop playing me. I work better offline.” [b]Unlocking New Features (aka Opening Another Empty Box)[/b] Every time you unlock something new, the game gives you a pat on the back and immediately throws you into another brick wall. Another idle RPG with a bunch of upgrades and progression to mess around with, but honestly it just didn’t do anything for me. I got bored with it pretty quick and didn’t really feel like sticking around. I’d skip this one.

interesting game but even after hours of generating items it will rarely give you good stuff and when an good item comes up than you already use that and you cannot use the other good to combine to make it better or what so ever. for me a waste of time. but the almost seven hours that i needed to realize that have been fun.

This game is deader than my hopes and dreams but, what is there is at least interesting enough to provide entertainment for a couple months. It's a pity because they could have actually done some fun things with it if they kept going with it. But lots of the systems aren't clearly defined and the stats aren't explained well. Not to mention several things just "aren't implimented" at all.

Haven't played this in forever but I remember the feedback loop being pretty satisfying. Lots of QOL features.
