Firestone: A casual idle game that plays itself (mostly)You know the feeling. You want to play something, but not learn a whole new system, grind endlessly, or fight 8-year-olds on a leaderboard. You just want a game that’s fun, satisfying, and doesn’t come with a 40-minute tutorial.Firestone is a laid-back, casual idle game and hero collector where you build a team and progress automatically. Even while you’re doing something else. No pressure. Just progress, loot, and occasionally see dragons. Perfect for fans of idle, AFK, and incremental games.🧙‍♂️ Build a team, then let them do their thing (AFK Progress!)Your squad fights automatically. Spells fly, swords swing, enemies explode - all while you sip your coffee. Log in, collect rewards, level up your heroes, maybe swap in a better wizard. Then get on with your day. Progress never stops - even when you’re AFK.🧚 A World That Doesn’t Ask Much of YouFrom frozen peaks to pirate hideouts, the world of Alandria is packed with fancy graphics. No lore dumps, no confusing side quests. Just a colorful map that you unlock as your team grows. Set some timers and come back to claim rewards - no grind required.💡 Always Something to UnlockCool heroes, shiny gear, and cute pets - Firestone has plenty to collect. But it’s never overwhelming. New systems unlock gradually, and upgrades come at a satisfying rhythm. Collect, upgrade, and evolve your squad at your own pace - whether you’re an idler, a clicker, or both.🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Stay Solo or Join the CrowdJoin a guild for some extra rewards and light chat. It's fun for the first month. Then it becomes a chore. I have only played this for a month and already I can feel progression grinding to a jolting halt. (For example: Instead of 2000% added at empowering at 16 hours, now it's 400%) There is a dizzying amount of currency here. Some unnecessarily doing the same thing (pharaoh tokens and scarab (?) tokens, and some where same is used for leveling up two separate things -both your personal skill tree AND your war machines. War machine campaign progression suggested power level "40k" yet I can't beat it with "60k" Fellowship and guild. I don't know why complicate things. It's tough to find a good one in either.

I started playing Firestone on July 18, 2025, and after 2,381 hours, I can safely say this is definitely not a pay-to-win game... it's more of a pay-to-finish-faster game. From day one, I set myself a challenge: unlock every single achievement without spending a single penny. Today, I finally reached that goal and completed the game at 100%. It only cost me 2,381 hours of my life. Now it's finally time to reconnect with my family... assuming I can still find them. It's been so long that they may have evolved into NPCs by now, which would also explain why they kept asking me to "pause the game." Farewell, Firestone. You kept me entertained for an incredible amount of time, and I enjoyed every step of the journey. I'm just sorry you didn't earn a single penny from me. But then again, that's pretty much the same kind of relationship I have with my mother-in-law. To everyone still grinding: keep going. The 100% completion is absolutely possible without opening your wallet—it just requires a healthy amount of patience... and perhaps an unhealthy amount of free time. Thanks for the adventure! 🏆
