About Goosthetic

Arm yourself with sticky boots, a smart-pistol, and the titular 'Goosthetic' grappling prosthetic to swing, slide, jump, boost, and shoot your way out of a twisted and abandoned scientific facility! Goosthetic is a fast-paced action-platformer FPS that follows a rejected human subject as he tries to escape captivity and dodge freakish slime mutations as fast as possible.

- Use a plethora of movement abilities to navigate through the lab at high speeds. Run, jump, slide, boost, and grapple your way out!
- Annihilate Exploders, Turrets, and flying Dummies with your pistol, one at a time with single-fire action or multiple with its Lock-On ability.
- Enjoy a rich, gooey environment and fantastic music to jam to as you dodge obstacles as quickly as you can.

Not bad. However the grappling mechanic is just to overpowered, and once you get it, you can overcome any obsticle, so makes the othe movement technics useless. Really needs to be toned down, and maybe needs just specific surfaces grappable. Otherwise a good little shooter. I hope the full game gonna have a proper options menu with fov slider, sensitivity, and less pixel skipping.1 found this helpful
This game has changed my life... for the better. From the amazing squelching music to the squishing of the goo this game is a 10 out of 10. I'm so happy I have stumbled across this game from the Steam Farlands. Critics say this game is the next Red Dead Redemption 2 and they are correct. Thank you SmileWire.
this game is what i imagined poppy playtime was like sucks this gtame doesnt have graphics settings cuz it has random fps drops and they are never stable especially when the game just doesnt look like smth that would preform that bad,, kinda sucks for a dash 'n shoot. also has a hidden trans flag... lol ofc a ultrakill-like cant exist w-out trans ppl,, all the love to trans folks!! <3
I tried the game because someone I know knows one of the developers and to be honest its not my type of game but it does have a appeal to a speedrunner which I am not but its got a doom aspect to it and maybe a old devil may cry with the timed aspect very cool If you like to try and beat things as fast as possible
I played this one a number of times due to its adjacency to my period of enrollment, and I played it a number of times more today. My first play had crashed about halfway through, but afterward it seemed to have revved up to a mostly smooth runtime despite the stickiness of the controls themselves. In my first full play, I had accidentally leapt over the Goosthetic without seeing it. This had turned enemies into a much more frontal and engaging threat, although the vertical shaft areas could be quite hard to contend with. After that goofing I decided to go for speed, for which the developer times create a captivating sympathy. The game is a Nerve mazer, an atypical mech focus for the point-of-view perspective, and one which seems to express some immediate dissonance. In short, the endemic measures of spotter gaming are physically restricted to a slower tempo while using a point-of-view. All other mechanical aspects are bound by this fundamental rhythm of perspective, which is also why maps have become such an innate and expressive feature of the concepts between Metroid and Vania; it is perceived as an unavoidable result of the scene's ratio between the player and the maze they ex…
Interesting concept, great music, and fun graphics. Too much sliding, boosting, and running on walls (and falls) for me... but if you enjoy that kinda game, this is for you.
