●ストーリー
主人公は、かみさま（フェニックス）に憧れてものづくりをしていた、変哲もない作家の端くれだった。
午前４時、真夜中の公園で出会った、
不思議な少女「フェニ」
「おじさんは、真実を……ほんとうのことを、知りたいって思う？ それとも、知らない方が幸せだって思う？」
主人公は、彼女から不思議な金の卵を託される。
それは黄金鳥の卵……主人公がひとを幸せにすることができたら、不死鳥が蘇るという。
「これから私が話すのは、かみさまが作った、にせものの世界の終わりの物語」
そうして少女は、彼に語りだす。

This game must be one of my favorite games ever by CHARON, it's an experience I wish I could experience the story for the first time again and again! I used a translator to get through this game and it was very worth it! I adore Shiina and Sayataka .. <34 found this helpful
You'll need the unoffical English TL to play this. Fake Worlds End follows two somewhat unrelated stories, Yutarou; the real world protagonist and a whiny bum, and Tarou; The protagonist of a story a side character tells and the greatest "Rou" to ever "Rou" in a CHARON game. Contrary to the CHARON norm, this game doesnt have any yanderes that want to kill you, and has a mere two endings, though there are a lot of CG's. This game also features CHARON's old pixel style, which I really enjoyed. IMHO this game is fanservice to CHARON fans who have enjoyed their Pre-2018 works. It directly references Mikoto Nikki, Mix Ore, Makoto Mobius, Yanderella, Empty Words, Shihori Escape, Tsukimi Planet, Full Bokko Youchien, Menherafflesia, Dark Side of Red Riding Hood, and Cradle of Ruin. For the reason above, [b]I CANNOT RECOMMEND[/b] reading this if you haven't experienced their previous works (I mean I guess it kinda works as a standalone game, but not really).
