Before I played Gravity Box, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
1 found this helpful
I mean, I don't know how accurate the acceleration is to gravity on earth, but it definitely seems... yeah? It isn't bad, but not my favorite. I do see where they got the idea for the name, with everything being square. Can't wait for the sequel: Gravity Pentagon. Or better yet, the prequel: Gravity Triangle. I hope we do the 22 Jump Street credits thing where it just keeps going on and on with more and more sequels. INTRODUCING: GRAVITY TETRACONTAGON - 40 TIMES BETTER THAN YOU REMEMBER!!!!!! 6/10. Extremely repetitive. I appreciate the small additions (skins and secret on main menu).
"Gravity Box" is a badly made 2D gimmick game, you're a cube in a square arena and you collect stuff and avoid bad guys not by jumping, but by redirecting gravity. Of course all the baddies ignore the gravity anyway, so it's a flawed premise... and even if this had a spectacular, high quality technical delivery, it would fail. It failed, and it does not have a spectacular, high quality technical delivery. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Ter…
Only supports four directional movement ,200 and 300 score is too harsh for the two achievements as the gameplay is too RNG ,less skill based to reach said score. Would have preferred to have either get this score or unlock a certain number of skins. That way people like me who are not as good at this can still get all achievements. Trust me if for 300 score ,the alternative was to unlock most skins I would do it.
