As much as the gameplay is promising, the lack of any development or messaging forces me to give a negative review for now. On the actual gameplay side, I do think this has the potential to be great. It's a roguelike format in which you're playing the support character to a party of AI-controlled fighters, and have to use your random powers and random upgrades to somehow keep them alive. The real time with pause combat gives a frantic feeling to the fights without ever being overwhelming, and the art style is great. However, the game launched into Early Access several days late without any explanation of why, and that paid-for release had about five minutes of more content than the free demo. Since then, there has been no update, no news, nothing. So I have to judge the game on what is currently there, and that is just not worth the money.
