About Hate Wave
Getting to the end is practically impossible.
Using only one sword and needing a lot of skill, the player will need to survive 25 waves to be worthy of a second chance to live in the world of mortals.
Hate Wave is a mix of the gameplay and difficulty of Dark Souls and the wave mode of Call of Duty.
With realistic graphics, the player will face several monsters with different skills and artificial intelligence difficult to decipher which his next move.
Few will reach the end, but whoever succeeds will be properly rewarded.
This game is aimed at raising funds to create a much larger and more professional project. All players who manage to reach the end of Hate Wave will receive a free access key for our next project.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players criticize this game for poor lighting that makes gameplay difficult, repetitive enemy AI that moves predictably in straight lines, and bland level design confined to a single boring location. They also complain about clunky mouse controls, low-quality assets that appear recycled, and a jarring day-night cycle, though some appreciate the decent audio and unintentional campy atmosphere it creates. The general consensus is that the game feels overpriced for what amounts to uninspired asset-flip quality with fundamentally flawed gameplay mechanics.
The only thing this game and Dark Souls have in common is that they both have two words in their name. The lighting is a mess and you play half the time in pitch darkness. The enemies march in lockstep directly at the player. There is one location and it is as boring as watching someone watching a video of paint drying. Avoid. https://youtu.be/FU-906XVjhk4 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/e8cprsB2fIM A pricey game that seems like nothing more than an asset flip. The mouse handles horrible, the day to night cycle (I assume that's what it is) is horrendous, and the enemies all look stock. The audio is good enough though, and honestly it achieves a cheap Devil May Cry (PS2) knock-off atmosphere I did appreciate.1 found this helpful
