It's a nice short visual novel that about life and goal, i think the story need more time to be great (right now it's pretty good) but it feels like being cut down to only the very main idea. Like a stew with all correct ingredients but turned out ok but not as good as it could be cause it hasn't been cooked for long enough. I think it'll be somewhat of a spoiler from here. I'm somewhat of a writer myself so i hope i can help something by leaving this review. The main characters are lovely, but the time they spent with each other are not enough, the MC picked on the inconsistent in Scalet's made-up story a bit too fast, well he can be smart and Scalet is too honest, but you can let the suspicious rise a bit more for the audiences to start guessing on their owns. Or/And if that's not what you want to focus on but the relationship between them, give them more time together after the truth reveal to further tighten it and show more changes to the characters after their time with each others. I hope you guys the best with your lives and your next projects1 found this helpful
8/10 Really short but really well done. Great short story, well drawn, and the music hit. Would love to see more from the developer.1 found this helpful
Hauling Away isn't just a visual novel; it's a journey through the deepest recesses of the human experience. From the moment I started playing, I was entranced by its beautifully crafted narrative, rich characters, and stunning artwork. The story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, pulling at your heartstrings with every twist and turn. The characters feel incredibly real, each with their own struggles and aspirations, making it easy to become deeply invested in their lives. What sets Hauling Away apart is its ability to tackle complex themes with grace and sensitivity. It doesn't shy away from the difficult moments but instead embraces them, weaving them into the fabric of the story in a way that feels both authentic and poignant. The artwork is simply breathtaking, with every scene meticulously crafted to evoke a range of emotions. From the tranquil beauty of the countryside to the bustling streets of the city, each backdrop is a work of art in its own right. But perhaps what impressed me the most was the sheer depth of choice and consequence. Every decision you make feels like it carries weight, shaping the story in meaningful ways and leading to multiple branching path…1 found this helpful
Free visual novel. Bad writing and a predictable story. Free, but not recommended. 2/5
Hauling away is a good visual novel to read with your food and drinks besides you. It gives a fun experience for one sitting and can't help but wanting more. Medice (Devs). F you. This game is quite good. Touche for making me cared enough for Scarlet. Didn't regret that second playthrough.
Ungrateful lil twink.
