Good, but a flawed version This likely is the only legal way to get a copy of this game that plays nice with modern systems. It's worth noting however that it misses the music and doesn't upscale very well. I experienced some flickering and misplaced "hitboxes" in the wacky menus. If you can live with that and just want to revisit this classic arcade racer then go ahead, it's still good fun for an afternoon of nostalgia. P.S.: Played through Wine on Linux, so displayed playtime isn't accurate.

**NOTICE: Normally, your playtime is not recorded by Steam at all, because it's opening a separate nondetectable by Steam window which emulates the old Windows this game was made for(or it might just be running the game normally and it being just undetectable just like Race07 & its DLCs that are counted as separate games according to the library). No one can post reviews here because everyone's playtime is 1 minute(and we need at least 6 minutes to make review), but I bypassed that check just to post this review.** This game's presentation is weird but rather iconic, dare I say...unique menus and options, character selection, upgrades, an interesting tournament system in which you can also race AIs by betting points earned in races & most importantly...WEAPONS. You have an insane amount of options for those, but I think I broke the game because of using...nails. I can just spam those one by one by pressing 8 when in first place and by the end of the lap everyone is dead. Kinda fun discovery after playing for 15 mins lmao. The others I am sure are quite good and entertaining(have tried like 3 of them) but felt cool I discovered that. Sadly, there is no music...I don't know what hap…

One of the best 90s racing game I witnessed. A bit tricky to play with a modern Win 10 PC (I had to turn off compatible mode) but it works and it is still fun even to this day! it's not realistic don't exspect that: It is just fun. Music doesn't work because the original game launched music from a CD like a CD player did back then.

Okay, I don't know how I should feel about this. I bought this game because I really like old-school games and their art style. However, the game doesn't even run properly. To start it, you have to go into the game files and run it from one of the four executable files. When you launch it this way, Steam doesn't track your playtime. The game doesn't have a soundtrack because, back then, you needed to insert the game’s CD to play the music tracks. I saw that players can't write reviews unless they have spent some time in the game. I ended up with 15 hours of playtime because the game was running in the background without me knowing it. I bought this during the summer sales, so it's nothing, but without the discount, it's priced at €8.

Have a N.I.C.E day! is a fast-paced arcade racing and vehicular combat title developed by Synetic GmbH and published by UniqueGames Publishing GmbH, originally released in the late 1990s and later made available on Steam as a retro reissue. It is very much a product of its era, designed around immediacy, spectacle, and exaggerated action rather than realism or simulation. The game throws players into chaotic races where speed, aggressive driving, and weapon usage are just as important as mastering the track layout, capturing the wild, unrestrained spirit of classic arcade racers that thrived before modern physics-heavy racing games became the norm. At its core, the game revolves around high-energy races on narrow, obstacle-filled tracks that leave little room for mistakes. Courses are packed with sharp turns, jumps, loops, and environmental hazards that demand constant attention and quick reflexes. Opponent AI is relentless, pushing hard to overtake and disrupt the player at every opportunity, often using weapons to knock rivals off course or slow them down. Winning races earns money, which feeds directly into the game’s progression loop by allowing players to upgrade their vehicl…
