Have aN ICE day is a pretty interesting little survival game because it mixes a battle royale setup with a freezing tundra and a curse involving a Wendigo. I am dropped into the snowy environment with other survivors, and the basic goal is to stay alive, gather what I need and eventually become the one person who gets out. I like the idea because the cold itself is part of the threat, rather than the game only being about fighting everyone else. The survival side is probably what I enjoyed most. I have to pay attention to the environment while also keeping an eye on the other players, which gives the short matches a decent amount of pressure. The tundra feels like a place I need to move through carefully instead of simply treating it as an arena. I also like the hunting aspect because it fits the idea that the curse can only be lifted by taking another life. It gives the matches a clear purpose beyond simply surviving for as long as possible. The game is designed for two to four players and matches are expected to take around fifteen to twenty five minutes. I think that is a good length for this type of game because I can finish a match without having to commit to a huge session.…
