Hide Time

I think this is a solid introduction! Pros - Decent gameplay, good graphics, horror, atmosphere, and storyline. Cons - Boring puzzles and confusing directions. Overall scores - 7/10

Hide Time is a horror game that surprised me with how much it focuses on exploration and puzzle solving instead of constantly throwing enemies at me. I play as John Evans, a new employee at Passion Oasis, a huge entertainment complex that seems cheerful on the surface but is hiding a much darker history. I liked the contrast between the bright public spaces and the unsettling secrets underneath them. The main gameplay is built around completing tasks and solving puzzles. I have to repair mechanisms, use equipment around the building and search for ways through different areas while trying to understand what happened there. I enjoyed this because the puzzles make the exploration feel purposeful rather than simply asking me to walk from one cutscene to another. The complex itself is also a major part of the experience. There are different locations to explore, including food areas, party rooms and other attractions, and the whole place feels much larger than I initially expected. I liked searching through these spaces because there are plenty of environmental details and hidden areas that make me curious about what else might be hiding nearby. the game is great, their graphics are really good, i would say this is like poppy playtime but with a cheaper budget, what bothered me is the fact that there is no sensitivity setting and the game is kind of short. 7/10

I would be lying if i said I didn't like this game but it left mixed emotions. I liked its simple story, understandable tasks and good visual. However, game is a bit boring for me, especially the 2/3 part of it. It felt like extended. Moreover i really liked cat's fast movement when i hid inside the locker. I hope you will actualize it in gameplay too in next chapters.
