In terms of function, "Hist Maker" is a historical education game; in terms of gameplay, it is an element synthesis puzzle solving game. The core gameplay process is to try to combine the existing elements in the game, get more and more new elements, and ultimately reach the goal of clearing the level. The so-called "elemental synthesis" is just like combining "human" element and "stone" element , then they can be synthesized as "stone tools" element, and then "stone tools" may be able to synthesize new elements with other elements, and so on. So if you want to clear the level, you also need to develop your own imagination to explore the level, and think and solve puzzles.

"创史者Hist Maker" is a weird, pointless browser tier "Doodle God" ripoff where you combine elements to make new stuff, but this one is oriented around some rather badly related historical facts. In Chinese. Don't mention Tianenmen Square. The presentation and technical delivery here is some of the worst I've ever seen. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relat…
Can not get past first screen due to being in either Chinese or Japanese. The survey they force you to complete does not load completely so game is unplayable.
It's not that I don't want to play the game. I could not submit the questionnaire after I fill all questions. And so I can't click in and play.
