Each puzzle lets you play on grids ranging from an easy 3x3 to a challenging 6x6, with two medium difficulty levels in between. If you want to make things even more difficult, you can turn on the time limit, or leave it in Zen mode, which lets you solve each puzzle for as long as you want. For a no hassle route through the images, you can simply stick with the easiest 3x3 mode, which will probably let anyone reach the end. This is especially true if you take advantage of the three hints you can buy with coins, which are awarded each time you complete a puzzle. You can hold a maximum of 200 coins. The most useful hint is also the most expensive. It lets you swap two tiles, which is particularly helpful because this is a common problem in these types of games. You often end up with two tiles in the wrong positions, forcing you to rearrange the entire puzzle. With this hint, you can fix the problem immediately. Rather than presenting a random assortment of images, it connects its puzzles through a historical progression that begins with the origins of the universe and moves through prehistoric eras, human civilization, major discoveries, and visions of the future. This gives an otherwise straightforward puzzle concept a stronger sense of direction, making each completed image feel like another small milestone along a much larger chronological path. The central gameplay is easy to understand. Each picture is divided into tiles that must be moved into their correct positions until the original image is restored. What provides variety is the ability to tackle the puzzles through 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6 configurations. With 80 unique levels available across these grid sizes, there are effectively 320 puzzle challenges to work through. Smaller grids are approachable enough for quick sessions, while the larger configurations require considerably more concentration and careful planning.
