About Hot Brass
When SWAT gets the call, everything else has failed. Experience the high-risk world of the elite SWAT operator.
The job is tense, and every split-second decision has consequences. From infiltration to de-escalation: keen awareness, expert tactics and a strategic use of equipment are key to becoming a master of tactical strategy.
- MASTER EACH MISSION: From hostage rescue to a terrorist bomb threat, arresting a biker gang boss or foiling a casino heist, each mission offers its own set of challenges to learn and overcome.
- EQUIPMENT FOR EVERY ENCOUNTER: You'll need everything at your disposal to infiltrate and resolve each situation. Find the right tool for the right task!
- MULTIPLE POINTS OF ENTRY: The obvious entrance isn't always best. Sneak around back or simply blast through the wall. Almost everything in the environment is destructible, allowing players to destroy windows, doors and walls to gain the upper hand.
- UTILISE YOUR SURROUNDINGS: Crouch behind cover and slide over low objects to ensure you're in the safest and most advantageous position, whatever the situation.
- GATHER YOUR UNIT: Play with 1-4 players in online and local co-op.
- CHALLENGE YOURSELF: How quickly can you read a situation? Find the best strategy for every scenario. You'll only complete a perfect mission with zero infractions and zero casualties.

Imagine Hotline Miami, but slower, with a lot of not really that fun mechanics and not even character sprites, just circles with guns. I get the concept gameplay-wise, could've been fun, but it just doesn't work for me with this one.7 found this helpful
This Game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ infuriating, I have had to do the same mission about 20 times because I either die in one shot or tase or shoot someone 1 millisecond before the game thinks I should then I fail the mission and have to restart from the very beginning. Other than that the game is fine7 found this helpful
Honestly, I didn't expect much from this game, but I was wrong. The game features a variety of weapons, skills, locations, and missions, requiring a unique approach to each level. I'd also like to point out the AI; even when an enemy has surrendered, they can still change their mind and kill you, which is quite well implemented. There's also a storyline in the form of a tutorial, and I liked that if you're wounded, you lose speed and blood stains are visible. There were some minor bugs where challenges/kills wouldn't count, but it's not a big deal. My rating: ✭✭✭✭✰2 found this helpful
Great game. Fun in singleplayer, also fun in coop. Not super long, but just enough content that you get your fill without getting bored of it. Satisfying and challenging.1 found this helpful
Hot Brass is a tense and highly tactical top-down shooter that successfully captures the pressure and discipline of modern SWAT operations through methodical gameplay built around teamwork, precision, and split-second decision-making. Developed by Walk with Kings, the game places players into dangerous law enforcement scenarios involving hostage rescues, armed criminals, active shooter situations, and high-risk tactical raids where survival depends far more on coordination and patience than reckless aggression. Instead of functioning like a traditional arcade shooter focused purely on gunfights, Hot Brass emphasizes realistic tactical procedure and controlled execution, creating an experience where every room breach and every decision carries significant consequences. What immediately makes the game stand out is its commitment to tactical pacing. Players are heavily encouraged to move carefully through environments, gather information, secure civilians, and neutralize suspects with discipline rather than charging blindly into combat. Missions are structured around realistic SWAT-style objectives where preserving civilian lives and maintaining control over chaotic situations matter…1 found this helpful
A game where you can yell at a guy 5 times to "get down" THEN get shot dead, then your partner walks over your body and yells at the same guy one more time as he throws his gun on the floor and puts his hands behind his head. Everything about this game is perfect really but ffs why is it also a spam the yell button simulator?? Really sucks the more you play but that one time with me yelling 5 times in a row, this game can go away.....
