Game & Watch all the ETs steal our endangered species while you take flight to bring them all back to their proper owner, GAEA.

I.F.O. is a fun little endless arcade shmup in an old school handheld art style. The game is inspired by Time Pilot from the arcade. Two buttons for rotating your plane clockwise and counterclockwise. Press both buttons to dash, it will also activate the drill. Shoot UFOs and safe animals with all kinds of weapons you can upgrade by picking up aliens. When you kill UFOs in short succession you'll increase your combo for a higher score with a max of 40. After a certain amount of kills you'll get a warning for an animal abduction in progress. It's either a sheep or a cow with a letter on it referring to the weapon you'll get when you save it. A cow will restore a life. A sheep will grant you a quarter of a heart, when you get 4 heart pieces you get an extra life and your max lives will increase by one. Some of the weapons are great like the Machine Gun, 3-Way and Homing Missile, others are alright like the Back Shot, Drill and Laser. The Floating Mines and the Rocket are bit of a pain. What you can do is of course ignore weapons you don't like but you can also stay in the vicinity while killing UFOs to make the subsequent abduction spawn quicker and rescue the animals in short suc…

it's like one of those game and watch games and has about as much depth. its playable and works fine and can be a little fun so i'll upvote it but even at $3 i'ed get it on sale. you shoot alien space ships then try to grab the pilot when they bail so you can level up your weapon and if you catch a saved cow you'll get a random weapon.

A Game & Watch styled game that deserves to be commended for what it is, a nostalgic throwback to the early 1980ies, Very simple gameplay but not necessarily very easy either.

That game could have been a Game & Watch game and would be wonderful with the 2 buttons. It even tells the time (why would you check on the game, tho).

Fun little game! I've never seen anything like it on Steam before. Not a lot of depth, but the music is lovely and the controls are simple enough for anyone.
