About Imperfections
Imperfections is a 2D space shooter, where you build your own battleship, manage energy and heat to fight off enemies and bosses.You can use various parts to build your spaceship including thrusters, turrets, shockwaves and more! You also need to be careful and build your ship wisely as it can overheat or parts may function differently depending on where you place them. For example if you place your thruster on the side, your ship will rotate like in the real world!
You can unlock many central room types that modify your survival experience! Each electrical part uses energy and produces heat on use, you need to manage your temperature using coolers or you can overheat and explode! You also need to manage energy as without it, none of your parts would work! You can generate energy using solar panels or heat recyclers.There are many different enemies and bosses that will try to take you down. They can be ranged, melee or even mixed! Each boss has their own unique abilities that will test your ship in different aspects from movement to firepower! There are also different enemy types that make your experience much more thrilling!

The title "Imperfections" Is perfect for this game, as the core gameplay loop I would say is noticing the flaws of your ship design and tweaking them on the go. I really like this aspect of the game and find it really fun to experiment, learning what works and what doesn't. Imperfections is also a bit of a difficult game! But not in a frustrating way at all, when I'd die (which certainly happened alot) I placed more fault on my own design rather than the game being too difficult or punishing. when you fail theres always a clear reason why, and Its up to you to deduct that reason and fix your design accordingly, which is really easy with the intuitive and forgiving build system that lets you completely change your design on the fly or to suit your current needs in the run. The little info box about the enemy type that killed you when you die is also really cool, and It gives you a hint as to how you avoid the same fate next time you go up against it. This gameplay loop along with an intuitive ship building system makes for a great game, and I hope to see more updates to the game in the future!1 found this helpful

In every contest there is valor, in every moment wonder, and the player is made both hero and witness to a tale most nobly wrought.
