About Instant Anastasia
The enemy is unseen.
The setting: a spaceship. Reality is being consumed by the “nightmare” seen by the crew in cold sleep, leaving the vessel half-ruined.You must traverse between the real world and the nightmare, rescuing the remaining survivors.Your only clues are the signs of the nightmare leaking into reality: monitor malfunctions, sudden shifts in temperature, and strange radio signals.Your tools are a gun, a repair kit, and the Dream Shader—the only device that can visualize the entities from the nightmare.Navigate through a procedurally generated ship, using a limited set of resources. Will you fight the nightmare, or avoid it? Will your health last, or will your sanity give out first? When and where you use your resources—each decision, each second—can mean life or death. An intense, condensed roguelite horror experience awaits. The nightmare has a name: “Heavy Dream.”A fatal risk humanity accepted in exchange for technological advancement.- Distress calls echo in the darkExplore ever-shifting, procedurally generated zones. Track down essential supplies and cling to the faint hope of survivors.
- An invisible threatIt cannot be seen. But signs of its presence are everywhere—flickering lights, static on the radio, malfunctioning doors, groaning corpses. Pay attention to these signs bleeding into reality and locate the unseen enemy.
- A high-risk, high-reward mindscapeLet the enemy get too close, and you’ll be dragged into the nightmare world. There, enemies become visible—but if your sanity hits zero, it's game over. Will you stay and hunt, or flee back to reality? Decide instantly, based on the situation and your remaining resources.
- Choices in the face of despairA collapsing spaceship. Resources nearly gone. In this extreme scenario, where repair, combat, and exploration are all trade-offs, you must make the boldest—and most careful—choices to survive.
Review
Awesome fun difficult random generated horror game from 727nothound as usual. If you have played his free Heavy Dream game, its pretty much similiar. Note that this is by no means an easy game, you are probably gonna died a lot till you 'click' with it and still died due to bad RNG. Only advice without spoilering anything is take it slow since there doesnt seem to be any time limit and resource is limited so dont waste it if you can.
Feedback
- You can actually hard lock yourself if you spend too much resource and not being able to progress early with bad RNG locked door, i wish at least each shop has diff stuff, or able to refresh lineup or always selling same stuff but price increase with each purchase to help alleviate this a bit. - Something in Heavy Dream is you have an equip sort system to customize some gameplay element(Increase reload speed, criti…8 found this helpful

Not my piece of cake but I can appreciate what it is. Really interesting artstyle and good atmosphere
"detected oxygen supply error" ❤️🩹❤️🩹🖤 🟩 neat atmosphere 🔷 invisible enemies 🔴 rng can be harsh vibes: nightmarish loops: travel through areas paying attention to environmental clues to detect invisible enemies, collecting items and rescuing crew members ramblings: great feel to it, fun gameplay loop. kind of wish there was more biomechanical horror in the style/visuals though considering the ships apparently are living biomechanical things. the harder forgotten ship mode is kind of neat but also frustrating how incredibly rng dependant you are, i gott to the final crew quarters several times only to be kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by rng. things like requiring an item that i just cant find anywhere, or just tons of locked doors. being the hardest difficulty that i was trying to complete in one run i cant really complain too much about that though. i did find it annoying how some enemies had semi-randomized cues, combined with there probably being too many of them, made trying to be methodical and deduce what you're facing feel pointless. verdicts: i enjoyed it quite a bit, though you will have seen pretty much everything there is to…
