About Invaders
This game takes place in Earth during an alien invasion. Using upgrade able buildings such as barriers, flamethrowers, and the all powerful demolisher, the player gets to take the perspective of a man-made battle AI in a war field that places defenses to hinder and stop the enemy. By employing various strategies and managing the balance with the resources offered to the player at the end of each wave, the player will have to survive until the invasion ends.

Invaders is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from in . While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. This is a barebones tech demo of a tower defense that looks like the result of halfway following some tutorials then bolting off to Steam Direct with $100 clenched in hand. Does this have any serious value as a game for gamers? No... it does not. So the most important lesson for every developer has not been learned... pretty good for a first game. although general game play is pretty slow and boring.
