This game is a very good realization of the actuality of many situations many of us will never fully understand. Yet the casualness- up until a certain point- makes it all the more heartbreaking. I believe everyone should play this game to understand the pain, loss, destruction, and terror of war that seems oh so distant from our lives, and how it can redirect someones life for horrible things. If you think this is pointless- like some reviews-, open your heart and your mind.

"Ishmael" is not a game, it's a "hypertext" e-book/web page that for some reason was dumped on Steam to pretend to be a game. It's certainly worth pointing out that for something to be a game, it should probably have a game loop. Books don't have game loops, even if they're on the PC. I can't recommend things which aren't games to gamers. Yes, I know the subject is an important and serious one, but that's all the more reason to approach it professionally instead of formatting it as if it was a web page, dumping it on Steam and pretending a glorified web page is a game. It's not even well written, with spelling and grammatical errors... when you're trying to misuse Steam to dump garbage E-books because no real publisher would take it seriously, you have one job... and the "developer" here couldn't even do that right. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, as I mentioned, it's not a game. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the webpage peaked at only 8 concurrent readers... this is a dismal…

ishmael is such a qualified g, he is the palestinenaninan martyr. i have dedicated 10 mins a night for the rest of my life to hailing him, hail ishmael. P.S would be 10/10 game if farooq wasnt a cheating dirty israeli spy

Игра «Ishmael» — атмосферный психологический хоррор с глубоким сюжетом. Погружение в лабораторию, полную тайн и угроз, захватывает с первых минут. Графика минималистична, но создает напряженную обстановку. Интерактивные элементы и неожиданные повороты делают игру захватывающей. Звуковой ряд усиливает тревожность. Хотя геймплей линейный, эмоциональный подъем и развязка оставляют яркое впечатление. Рекомендую любителям интеллектуального триллера и атмосферного жанра.
