You step off the chopper and into the sweltering heat of the jungle, grab your gear, and head off in search of fame, fortune, and prehistoric beasts. Nobody knows exactly why dinosaurs have shown up on this remote jungle island, but you know you can take them out. You've been hired as a mercenary to kill as many of these things as possible, and the good news is the checks have all cleared.
Island 359 is a Virtual Reality survival game for the HTC Vive and Oculus Touch. Players will scrounge for weapons, upgrades, food, and other items they can find to survive for as long as they can against hordes of dinosaurs, as they explore the increasingly dangerous, beautiful, and expansive island. You're a mercenary, the money's no good to you if you're dead, so you're going to need to survive long enough to get out if you want bragging rights and a fat bank account.

Survival Mode Features:
See your entire body in VR! Using our Virtual Self solve, you can now see your body in Island 359. It works with or without the HTC Trackers (and even works with Oculus Touch!). Just step into the boots and follow the easy-to-follow instructions and get calibrated! Kick some Jurassic in Island 359 using your Virtual Self!

No one knows about this game. But it’s probably my favorite dinosaur games out there. Crafted by just 2 dudes, this beauty is an entire Jurassic park basically. An abandoned Dino island with buildings and check points you can loot. Tyrannosaurus Rex is probably the scariest thing I’ve ran from on my treadmill in VR before. This game also supports full body tracking and you can kick dinosaurs while you shoot and swing Mel’s weapons at them. Great graphics too.9 found this helpful

I saw this game as an 8 year child in 2018, it was played by a youtuber named The Gaming Beaver. I loved that video and i loved that game and i wanted it so i got a vr but meta did not support it, and i had the worst desk laptop ever so i waited. months turned into years and i bought a ps5 and psvr2, still not their, so finally in 2025 i bought my parts right before the new year. finally by 2026 i had a pc, still no vr, so i bought a Oculus Rift S A few days ago and i was thrilled with this experience. But i hope the DEVs come back a modernize the game. OVERALL 10/10 sostalgia Spike 10/10 Absolute Cinema1 found this helpful

Some of the worst controls and mechanics in a VR game that I have played so far. Stood there for 10 minutes trying to remap the controls so that they would work. Finally mapped a button to be the 'menu' button so that i could drop the knife it told me to pick up and drop (Because using grip to grip something and releasing grip to drop it was apparently too immersive for these designers) gave up improving control mapping after that for a minute.. and was handed a pistol. Have to re-grip the pistol to trigger reload animation instead of just reloading it and that put me over the top on the bad control design. Going to request refund.
