About Raptor: Cretaceous Island
Welcome to Cretaceous Island, an experimental facility that was built with the sole purpose of bringing carnivorous dinosaurs back to life.
With only a few weeks to go until the grand unveiling of the dinosaurs and the facility to investors and executives, all hell breaks loose. Due to a power outage and computer system malfunction, the dinosaurs have escaped from their enclosures and are wreaking havoc on the Island. Wanting to hide the news from the outside world, the executives of Cretaceous Island have ordered all of the workers who are stranded out in the field to restore the power and security systems on the island, even at the cost of their own lives.
Built exclusively for VR, Raptor: Cretaceous Island is a first person shooter survival game that lets you explore an island overrun by meat-eating dinosaurs. You will play the role of a variety of workers who happen to be stranded in different sections of the island following the power outage and computer system failure. Find and use weapons to survive and complete missions.
Raptor: Cretaceous Island is still evolving. There are more missions, modes and weapons that are coming soon.

Find more reviews on my curator page HERE. I've only played a few missions, but I've enjoyed it so far. It's a VR FPS on an island full of velociraptors. You're dropped into a facility with various screens that serves as the mission select area. You pick a mission (and time of day, night missions are great) and you're whisked away to complete an objective ranging from collecting items and finding an escape route to holding down an area for reinforcements, all while fighting off velociraptors. Overall it's kind of simplistic; sound, textures and AI are all just alright. In the end it's a fun experience, it's inexpensive and I love dinosaurs so it a thumbs up from me.9 found this helpful
This game looks ok but the controls are terrible with WMR. The game also needs 360 degree tracking which WMR does not have. Unless someone can tell me different and tnere is a way to set up the controls to work with WMR, as far as I am concerned it should not be advertised as being able to be played on WMR. I wasted my money.6 found this helpful
It's an enjoyable game and I liked the various missions. Worth getting if you're up for a challenge as I couldn't put it down until I passed a mission!2 found this helpful
What a disappointment ! Graphics are quite nice and I love action dino games but there is no game here ! You can only teleport in a way too much quiet forest and sometimes you shoot a raptor... and that's it ! I don't even have sound... I paid 2 euros for this game but it's still too much. Please devs, take back this thing in your development lab and make it a proper game, with free moves, objectives, progression and all !
feels more like a tech demo than an actual game additionally there is no support for valve index controllers
I liked this game but the WMR controlls are not up to par. When you teleport the screen flashes and that takes me right out of the epierence. It NEEDS fluid locomotion controls. It also definately needs a compass or some sort of map. Its too easy to loose your direction when turning to kill a raptor. Also there are several "reviews" mentioning "all the different missions!" There are TWO game modes. Thats it. Also those reviews have ONE product in account so.... The night map is fun for the scares and ill definately play that many times but its not an eight dollar game at all. Maybe three dollars.
