JungleBoys

JungleBoys is a really chaotic multiplayer survival game that I had fun with because it does not take a complicated approach to its idea. I am thrown into a jungle with other players, searching for useful items while trying to be the last person standing. I liked how quickly the matches create tension because everyone is exploring the same relatively dangerous space and looking for an opportunity to gain an advantage. The combat is simple but effective. I can move through the jungle, collect items and use them when another player gets in my way. Healing and revival items add some extra strategy because getting knocked down does not necessarily mean the match is immediately over. I enjoyed having to think about when to fight and when it is smarter to escape and reposition. The jungle itself works surprisingly well as a battlefield. There are treasure chests, elevated areas and places where I can use the environment to my advantage. I liked the feeling of moving through the vegetation without always knowing where another player might be hiding.
