About Superfighters of Survival
In Superfighters of Survival, every 200 years, the gods organize a fierce competition where they choose mortal champions to fight to the death in a celestial coliseum.
Only one can survive and achieve the much-desired "Ascension" earning a place among the gods.
However, there is a dark secret: the competition is rigged by the gods themselves, who manipulate the event at their whim, keeping the participants and the public unaware of their depraved fun.
Among the contenders is an elf, selected from a young age and manipulated to participate in this brutal and glorious competition…
Can you challenge the gods and uncover the secrets of this competition?
Superfighters of Survival is a cooperative action "deathmatch" game where you will participate (by force) in coliseum battles to save your life! Experience what it is like to be a champion in a fantastical, ever-changing coliseum filled with weapons, abilities, and combat strategies, while earning the support or the hatred of our beloved audience and rising to victory.

Changing Battlefield - The arena where you fight is dynamic and offers many possibilities for facing combat. Changes in the structure itself with platforms, springs, moving structures, pits, or different height levels are some of the situations you can experience in our coliseum.
Weapons and Traps Everywhere - You will have access to a wide variety of mythical and fantastic weapons within the coliseum. From ranged weapons like staffs and bows, to close combat weapons like swords and shields, or even audience weapons like a ham bat or a folding chair; these are some of the combat possibilities available to you. This, combined with a variety of traps and structures (spikes, fire, spinning saws, etc.), offers a different strategy in every confrontation.
Pollice Verso - No matter how you fight, the audience can influence the course of the combat (after all, they paid to see you). Depending on how you fight and what strategies you take, the audience will either support you or hinder your fight. Include a description of the mechanics.
Every Man for Himself: The game’s combat is a "deathmatch" style where you will face many enemies alongside your friends in a "free-for-all" mode. This doesn't mean you have to cooperate, as only one can be left standing. Fun and rivalries are guaranteed with this game mode.

"Superfighters of Survival" is a student project from the Central University of Digital Arts in Madrid, Spain (and if you're ever in Madrid, try one of the fried squid ring rolls, and churros, they're great). But I digress. This year the students were tasked with making a really bad third person top down-ish (what a weird perspective this game has) arena brawler when you're on a simple colleseum style map and you just fight other stuff to make their health bars go down. The really bad graphics and clunky design just kill this student project. I suspect the students all failed the course. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on th…3 found this helpful
