"Kiwi's Adventure" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Flappy Bird (Copyright Dong Nguyen, 2013). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Kiwi's Adventure" is considerably worse than Flappy Bird. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Came straight from your YouTube video! I gotta say this game is actually super fun! It can be a little unforgiving at times for sure, like starting all the way from the beginning once you've lost all your lives, though I do appreciate the challenge. I'm also a fan of your pixel art! I know you said in your video that you're no artist, but I honestly think it's super good! Being a pixel artist myself, I understand readability can be hard for for this art style, but I understood what everything was meant to be from the get-go, which is always a good sign with pixel art! Overall I think what you've made here is a fun and cute little experience! I hope the VTubers appreciated as well! :D
