About Knights And Bikes
Saddle up for a bike-riding, friendship-building, frisbee-throwing, goose-petting, high-fiving, treasure-hunting adventure for 1 or 2 players!

You’ll play as Nessa & Demelza as they explore an ancient island with their pet goose Captain Honkers, riding and upgrading their bikes on a quest for treasure, adventure, and an end to childhood boredom!
As the story unfolds they’ll face hazards, puzzles, and the gathering forces of an ancient curse with their growing collection of frisbees, water-balloons, toilet-plungers, and a boom-box loud enough to wake the undead.
Together our heroines will laugh, learn, and cry - but will the power of their friendship and imagination be enough to actually save the island AND each other?

The game is by Rex Crowle (Creative Director: Tearaway/Tearaway-Unfolded, Art & Design: LittleBigPlanet) Moo Yu (Gameplay Programmer: Ratchet & Clank and LittleBigPlanet) Kenny Young (Audio Lead: Tearaway & LittleBigPlanet) Daniel Pemberton (Composer: Spiderman Enter The Spiderverse, Dark Crystal, The Man From Uncle)

Things to Do
- Best friends forever! Play single-player with an AI companion, couch co-op or online co-op.
- Solve puzzles and deal with enemies using your improvised abilities! These include: frisbees, water-balloons, puddle-stomping welly boots, and a powerful boom-box stereo.
- Work together! Both characters have different skills so you'll want to experiment with how they combine in order to succeed.
- Explore the island! Seek out its modern tourist-attractions and ancient ruins, both on foot and on your customised bikes.
- Discover treasure! Ranging from trinkets like broken action-figures and animal skulls, to the legendary riches rumoured to be hidden on the island.
- Upgrade your bikes! Barter with adults (offload your junk) so you can personalise your bikes, unlock extra abilities or at the very least: get those training-wheels removed!
- Tend to your pet goose! Captain Honkers has a keen nose-beak and can help you find what you need, if you keep him fed and happy.

Cute, whimsical, and weird. The messy, scrapbook visuals are a delight and I adore the overall tone of the adventure, but the game is mostly style over substance. We got a little bored after just a few hours. Gameplay starts slow and the mechanics it eventually gains aren’t the most interesting ideas. Music seemed to be missing from plenty of scenes. The absence of voice acting can be felt pretty hard here too. Long strings of silence as both players read the on screen text is a vibe that just doesn't fit a co-op game. Maybe adding voices would've also further emphasized the game's fun Britishisms as well. Either way, the time we did spend with the game was an entertaining co-op romp.2 found this helpful
I was looking for a game to play with a friend and this game seemed to suit the bill nicely. It's whimsical and fun, and has both co-op elements and light combat. My friend has not been a hardcore, lifelong gamer like myself and I wanted to start with something easier. I also didn't want a game where we were fighting each other or just clobbering everything. Some of the battles were tough, even from the perspective of someone with more experience, but we muddled our way through. Fighting tends to be more strategy than brute force. I liked that neither of us had been exposed to the game before so we got to explore it and figure it out together. My main gripe mechanics-wise is that the bikes were hard to get going and steer, but eventually you get them rolling enough to careen onward. Overall I found the game fun and it made me laugh quite a few times with its innocent humor. I love that the goose follows you around everywhere. It was a nice way to spend a few nights with a friend. The plot is light and a bit generic, but that leaves more room to explore without any pressure. Also, I had a hard time figuring out how to upgrade the bikes early on. If you hit Escape th…2 found this helpful
This is a very sweet, imperfect and charming game. The highlights for me after playing it are the story and the soundtrack. It is a game that feels like childhood: charming and wonder-eyed. It won't click with everyone and it is not an "I liked it 100%" from me, but I enjoyed it a lot and I want to see this dev team make more games. This is the sort of game that you can even play with your children and it has the feel of a children story book with cut-outs and lovely characters.1 found this helpful

Very good game, very fun to play together!!!
Gameplay is kind of boring like Psychonauts 2, I only recommend it if you can get someone to play with you. Everything is more fun with a friend and this is no different. If you don't have a friend, give it a shot solo and see if the story hooks you, if it does, 10 bucks is a good deal imo. But I wouldn't suggest slogging through it for the gameplay if it doesn't. Just not enough going on the gameplay side of things. Combat is over emphasized and with being just a 3 hit combo and the occasional use this attack so the enemy can take damage again from your 3 hit combo, its just not doing it for me. The exploration isn't that fun either especially with how you get around. For being called knights and bikes the bikes aren't that deep. For being restricted from certain zones, they should be a lot more fun to ride around, but they just aren't. Sprinting isn't that much slower either and doesn't require the constant (not even a mash) tapping of the pedal button. The presentation is peak and that might just be enough for you. The characters expressive faces reacting to story, the gameplay, sometimes even the environment like getting splashed with water or something, that kind of stuff st…
