About KreisReise
Is this infinite ring heaven or hell---?
Turn round and round, this is a dream.
The outside that we looked once.
Just only for that, it continues turning around.
----Whirl walk----
This game is the Metroidvania action game.
It is 2D map, but, with a characteristic rotary view, the screen scrolls and turns.
You get weapons and actions by exploration, and let's conquer the tower.
Default language is Japanese.
Please change a language from a menu "FRAME SETTING" in the game if you want to play an English version.
But it may not be appropriate translation because it is machine translation basically.

KreisReise is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. This one has a few differentiators to make it stand out a little from the masses. It's a Metroidvania, which at least shows significant effort went into careful game and level design, so this is a plus. Secondly, the game has a wrap-around circular display similar to Nebulus from the Commodore 64 in the 1980's, except you're on the inside of the tower rather than the outside. Unfortunately the perspective for the revolving tower is done in such a way that I got a little queasy just stepping through the first areas of the game. There's English support but this seems to have been produced by churning the game dialogue through a budget knock-off version of Google Translate, so it's incomprehensible gibberish. There's also a slew of technical problems and deficiencies. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Controls can be customised, and so can the resolution, but there's no proper widescreen …1 found this helpful
Got motion sickness so bad I threw up. Great game otherwise,
This game ages like the finest wine the longer you play it. Once you not only beaten the game, but also 100% it and acquire the True Ending, you realize this game is a masterpiece of its genre. The difficulty is really intense, but you'll feel extremely accomplished after overcoming whatever challenge this game throws at you. Especially in a second playthrough where you'll notice different routes you could take and how much quicker you can get by any of the game's challenges and bosses. If you like "metroidvania" games and/or extremely difficult games, then this game is a must especially when its free! However, this game is not for the weak. You'll get your ass kicked and you'll get lost. This game will not hold your hand and hardly will explain anything to you especially with the bad English translation. There's only a few flaws with this game. 1. Bad English translation although that's not really much of a problem since the game is 100% playable without even reading any of the short dialogue moments this game has. 2. Getting the True Ending is pretty much impossible without a guide. Not to spoil things, but you'll have to revisit a certain NPC throughout the game to ensure you …
