About Legacy Bites
Join the ultimate card battle to rescue humanity and protect the animal kingdom!
Key Highlights:
Unpredictable gameplay with the option to build your own deck
Embark on an epic Campaign Mode featuring 24 challenging missions
Gameplay Overview:
Step into a world divided between humans and animals, and your mission is to maintain the delicate balance between their populations.
Each game consists of multiple rounds, where an AI-controlled threat card is unleashed, altering the populations of humans and animals worldwide. To counteract these effects, you'll be dealt 1-4 cards per round, allowing you to mitigate the impact of the threat card. But here's the twist: while the threat card only takes effect at the end of the round, your player cards can influence populations not only during that round but also for the next two rounds. Strategy and careful card play are paramount. Don't forget to stay vigilant until the very end, as any remaining population modifiers will come into play. Brace yourself for the unexpected!
As if that weren't enough, the boundaries for each population may shift during the game, adding an extra layer of excitement. Plus, there's a round timer to keep you on your toes. Quick reflexes and sharp thinking are essential for your triumph!
To navigate precarious situations, players have the option to apply modifiers to their cards, allowing them to regain control from the brink. Use these modifiers wisely, as their availability is limited and must be managed tactfully.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Not sure what this is supposed to be, but it certainly isn't a game. They hype new and better art, and it does look nice, but it matters not when nothing else seems to mean or do anything. For starters, there is no explanation of what you are doing, and experimentation doesn't help at all. Each level, you get a card, or a few cards, and you play them all. There are buttons on the left that may alter the result, but who knows. I will qualify things here, you don't always get cards. I tried the campaign, and if you click level five, you simply go straight to a victory screen. What? The cards are always exactly the same, and I have played around with level 7, but always fail. No clue why. There are random games, but they mean nothing if you have no clue what is going on. Bought this on a sale, but even free would be too much for this nonsensical collection of pretty pictures and (admittedly) nice music. If I could vote for one game per year to be removed forever from Steam, this would be this years winner. Nine thumbs down. Refunding.
