About Lines On Sides
Join the tiles and experience an amazing adventure with them... no, wait, it's not that kind of game. :) Instead of saving the world once again, I present you a game in which you have to think about a solution. Your goal is to arrange the tiles so that their symbols match the symbols on the adjacent tiles. Once you have achieved this, black lines will appear to indicate the correct placement of the tiles. By playing and thinking about the solution, you will either relax or... get frustrated. It depends on how good you are at solving puzzles. And you must know that I have prepared several puzzles that will take you more time to solve.
Good luck.
:)

Difficulty : 2.5/5 (A bit Hard) Global : 2/5 (Good) Curator page : [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44695991-Anokturnus/]Anokturnus[/url] Lines On Sides is a minimalist puzzle game in which you have to rearrange tiles to match the symbols on the sides. Each tile is composed of 4 sub-tiles. You can move and rotate the tiles but the sub-tiles are fixed (at least at the beginning). The game is balanced, the first half is rather boring because it's just pure observation but the second half introduces some interesting mechanics. You'll be able to split the content of a tile in two, copy a tile etc; the game shows its true colors. And it's actually good! There are some pretty hard levels in there, though nothing will really be a problem if you just analyze and deduce carefully. You'll only start being in trouble if you carelessly manipulate the tiles without a clear plan : there's no undo button so it can get messy if you just try things randomly. The game isn't there to trick you or to be unfair, most of the tiles only need to be moved and only a few of them actually need to be tampered with. Lines On Sides is a good game with an interesting concept. If you like that kin…7 found this helpful
Lines On Sides nails minimalism: arranging tiles so matching sides click into place is peaceful but engaging. The calm music and no-rush design make it a perfect puzzle escape.
Fun little game with soothing music and sounds. Starts very easy and then gets more challenging as you go. If you like puzzle games you won't be disappointed.
It's a neat and relaxing little puzzle game. Definitely worth a try.
A relatively short and sweet puzzle game with a handful of challenging levels that require a bit of planning. The mechanics are pretty interesting to play and work with. I wish that there was an undo button and that I could drag the tiles more than one space at a time, but those are pretty minor complaints considering how good the game is overall.
This is a lovely puzzle game, and the hard levels are fairly challenging. Doesn't have an "undo" button, [strike] or a level select screen,[/strike] which is inconvinient. [strike]A "help" button appears after the platform rules are introduced, and this is, probably, the biggest ussue I have with the game. There are three different types of platforms. When another one is introduced, the text in the "help" menu changes from the previous platfrom's rules, to this one. If you need to check out the rules for the previous platfrom, you need to go back (no level select menu) to the levels where it was inroduced and then forward to the current puzzle. This is a wierd design choice, and it would be way better to simply add more rules as you progress in the game or to have a special menu option, that shows all the rules.[/strike] The majority of my critiques have been fixed. There is a level select now, and rules have tabs for different types. Also, some new levels have been added. I love when devs pay attention to their games and add quality of life features!
