Connected! 2

it's a straightforward and relaxing minimalistic game. I love the fact that I could change background to dark and change colors on the lines for it to become even more relaxing and to have more contrast. Nothing too challenging yet still sometimes asking you to pay a bit of attention if I remember correctly. it's a small minimalistic game that's also free to play. no fancy design nor fancy art. But I thought it seemed kind of relaxing when I saw someone recommeding it in a random video BECAUSE it was free, so I had no reason to not give it a try. it's kind of straightforward in concept, yet still feels rewarding to figure things out in the randomized maps. as I'm writing thigs it's been a while since I played, but I remember that it was very chill to start up another randomized map and spend a bit of time to figure it out. After beating the game I kept playing it once in a while for a while when killing time waiting for other stuff, or just wanting a small brain teaser, which is a good sign that the game is enjoyable.

"Connected! 2" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Pipe Dream/Pipe Mania (Copyright 1989, LucasFilm Games). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Connected! 2" is considerably worse than Pipe Dream. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. Solid minimalist puzzle game. It does what it says in the description and nothing else. If you really enjoy puzzle games, then there is no reason to ignore this one.

The Setting and UI could use a tweak, but otherwise, good game.

Nice little time waster. Great for listening to podcasts.

Waste your time, just keep spin and try to connect a line, adjust it while connecting another line, no steam achievements, most likely couldn't be solved logically, it's just like doing your irl j*b without getting paid
