About Loca-Love My Cute Roommate
Loca-Love is a kinetic visual novel (without any branching routes) with art by nanaca mai, of Corona Blossom and Grisaia fame, and a story by Japanese writer Hozumi Kei, famous for his sweet and romantic love stories. It follows the exciting but slightly awkward love life of protagonist Aoi Ichitaro after he moves in with the dreamy and beautiful girl he's had a long-time crush on...
STORY:
Aoi Ichitaro had been living on his own, until disaster strikes at his apartment and he's temporarily evicted.
However, his misfortune turns out to be a blessing in disguise...
"Y-You're... free to come and stay at my place!!"
Kojika Hiwa - Ichitaro's coworker at his part-time job - seems to have gathered all her courage to invite him over. Ichitaro, who had already taken a liking toward her, happily accepts, signaling the beginning of their new life together. At first, things are awkward and embarrassing, but once the two become aware of their mutual feelings, their life takes a turn for the sweet.
Sleeping, eating, going to school... every moment of the day is pure bliss when spent together with the caring and homey Hiwa. Naturally, Ichitaro wishes that they could keep on living together forever. There's just one thing he needs to do to make that happen...

A visual novel that focuses on the story of two school mates who work in a bakery. Eventually, he moves in with her and very quickly develops a romantic relationship with her. The story is straightfoward, and the overall mood is as sweet as the baked goods the title characters work with. There is a decent variety of good quality cute CGs and upbeat music. The Japanese voice acting is good too. Unfortunately, the story is VERY short, only a few hours. missing plenty of opportunities for more plot and character development. Quick reads are ok, but not when they are this expensive. Story is linear and no choices are provided. The story progresses very quickly, there are very few characters besides the couple. Such characters do not appear much in the story, and only a couple of them have drawn sprites. Overall, plenty of opportunities for further story and character development are missed. Overall, a VN of good quality but overpriced. I do recommend it, but barely due to the price, so I recommend getting it only in a sale. 5/10.7 found this helpful

Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate is a light, playful visual novel that leans hard into cozy vibes and simple slice-of-life romance. The premise is straightforward, but it gets the job done: you’re sharing space with an adorable roommate and the story focuses on small moments, teasing banter, and gradually warming chemistry. The strongest part is the tone. It doesn’t try to be deeper than it is, and that honesty makes it easy to relax with. Scenes are paced like short episodes, so it’s a good “one more chapter before bed” kind of game rather than something that demands long sessions. Character appeal is clearly the main hook. The roommate’s personality is written to be consistently charming, and the dialogue aims for cute and flirty more than dramatic. If you’re here for wholesome relationship progression and affectionate interactions, it delivers plenty of that. Visually, it’s clean and pleasant. The character art does most of the heavy lifting, and the overall presentation keeps things bright and comfortable. It’s not trying to overwhelm you with effects; it’s more about maintaining a soft, inviting look that matches the theme. Gameplay is minimal, as expected for this style. Choic…1 found this helpful

Happy wholesome story, great sex scenes, ending drama kind of weak but typical
sadly only 1 girl is available which is the cute pink haired girl and the other 2 character is in other games but for some reason they are banned sadly the NSFW add-on isn't on steam if only the other Loca-Love games were on steam as well
