you've got to be joking i fail a level and it sends me back to the start of the game???

I have a neo-geo cabinet at my work so i often play md3, and bc i have no life, i only play the survival modes. That being said, I think this did a really good job with recreating the fun the originals did so well capturing. plus i get to play the fool in the comfort of my own home so yay!

(Knock like 6 hours off my play time, I left it idling for a while) The base game is decent. It's blisteringly fast and easy to pick up, though it has some balance issues that become apparent. What brings it down are all the game modes and the ways they tie together. It's probably easiest to just explain what's wrong with each mode. Story: Extremely slow and a bad place to learn the game (which is what story modes are for). Dialogue is slow and you'll have to complete the same few puzzle challenges over and over. Enemy AI is not affected by difficulty so just set it to Easy. Because enemy AI is not affected, they will just curbstomp any new players until players learn to play properly. Oh and if you lose a single Best-of-3 against the AI, you fail story mode and get kicked back to the title screen. The hell? When you think 'Story mode' it's usually a campaign map where you select challenges you can repeat as many times as you want, not a weird board game/arcade mode hybrid. Anyways, to see everything you will need to play through it four times. This is less optional than you think, due to the next section. Match: The arcade mode. I love this game with all of my heart, I am rating it up because of the sales butttt there are few things that need changing: - We cannot remap the keys inside the game - when you lose in story mode you cannot retry you have to restart all over - I cannot find anyone online to play with i waited for long and I didn't find anyone :( The good things are it is more polished, I wish the devs would give us an option to have the MD3 design of characters it is smooth, would be much better with MORE PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH ONLINE :'(

I loved this game. Other game.............pay to get more playable characters. This game.........play to get more playable characters. This game should be a role model of the others. CHEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easily the second best game in the series, just below 3 Main downside is that you still can't play as any of the evil characters outside in singleplayer outside of story mode and match mode
