New Positive review 27 Oct. 2024 = Mars Flight VR is a free to play game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, sounded ok, looked ok, Plays Ok. Requires a xbox 360 controller to play, plug it in and look to see if you can change the color on the 3 buttons, and it recognizes your controller. It was a paid program at one time, now it is free. Flying the drone copter on Mars. Check this free edutainment game out.

Niche VR flight sim that allows you to control Ingenuity on Mars. Just make sure to disable automatic stabilization after learning the ropes: default settings make it too boring and easy. It is not the most exciting game out there: you control a small helicopter on a lifeless desert. But knowing that it is modeled from real life Mars photos makes it more interesting. Visuals are a bit bland, terrain could have used better textures, more details and dust effects. But after reaching high enough altitude it actually looks decent. And the game somehow provides much more immersive feeling of height and speed than most other VR flight sims. Works on Reverb G2 with XBox controller
