Slightly adjusted template of Gamemaker, shovelware with unfunctioning achievements. You're surely familiar with this type of games. Breakout (1976) was the first famous one, with Arkanoid (1986) as successful newcomer. My personal first experience was with EgaWalls on my 286. The game probably was called Walls, but I had to type egawalls in DOS to launch it, because the pc had an EGA monitor (16 colours). All this game does is bringing nostalgia while harassing with crappy screen 'effects', and 'remixes' of classic songs. This is just an example of the shovelwarecancer on Steam. One for the ignorelist.

[i]More reviews at Omnivore Gamer, games that are easy to control (for handicapped gamers). It's hard to say whether these defects are simply because the developer was lazy, or they're inherited from the craptastic GameMaker Studio construction kit. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Just like you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you can't make a good game from a completely crap game engine. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, which is de…22 found this helpful
