About Knockdown the Ball

Have you played before as a simple ball? If you have not played, do not hesitate to try!

* 11 different levels with simple to difficult,
* All levels created by block,
* Different ball appearances that are different and change over time,
* Every time you move it accelerates, so stopping is a lot harder,
* If you move at the same time when you jump, you have difficulty standing when you land,
* Did you lose balance due to a wrong move you made? Are you about to fall from the block you're in? Then stop the time!
* If you finish levels with high scores, you will earn high points
* If you fall down you lose your points!
* Each block you produces random achievement to you! You can also achieve many achievements by finishing the levels.

Knockdown the Ball centers around its random achievements. + You can spin up for unintended, fun standard-route-breakage/evasion - Bad level design - No level select - No quick reset or restart level - Music randomly stops - Necessary action of "stop all velocity and momentum" makes for a slow, uninteresting step-by-step-movement game - No straight-down position shadow (which was fine for me with I guess good spacial awareness, but I'm sure some people will struggle with) - Random-time achievements mean you wait to achieve I have never seen a resolution setting where you manually and arbitrarily text-enter your resolution before.

Now you see? No normal maps = junk. You need some true normal mapped balls to actually conquer the market. Funny, it doesn't glitch like in the trailer. There is full stop mechanic that is not mapped to the controller. It doesn't say full controller support though, what did i expect?

Control your ball through an obstacle course to reach the end. Sounds simple enough but dont worry, the movement mechanics are janky enough to make this comically challenging. Cheating levels with momentum you get when you fall and respawn is actually more fun than doing the game in the intended way, you can skip whole levels by jumping straight to the end. There are a few soundtracks that will play at the beginning untill the game decides youre a bad gamer, youre taking too long, you dont deserve to hear the generic tune anymore. Going back to menu and continuing where you left off brings the music back if you really want to listen to it, but only for a short while. Going for the soft neon visuals wasnt necessarily a bad choice but the textures are constanly flickering, if you dont suffer from epilepsy yet then this game just might be enough to push it over the edge. Game is not hiding the fact that its just an asset flip and an achievement hunting game, you get random achievement every few seconds for just randomly rolling around. If you want to pay 3 eur to farm random achievements with 0 effort, go for it.

While the game it self is ok, the Dev's help, and perseverance in making the game better/more stable is what gives this game is good review!
