Also you can always feel the metal music rhythm! Nice American-comic themed atworks. Just check! Video: https://twitter.com/hhfcurator/status/151780211615246336012 found this helpful
The game is at best a poor version of Binding Of Isaac - a very poor version. Short & dull and overall more advertisement for a record label, that contributed 90% of the music than anything else, than anything else. Time to beat around 60 minutes. Even if you love metal, just dont waste your money - or wait for a 90% off sale if you really MUST have it. Good thing - some of the featured bands are definitely good. Just sad that they get promoted by such a poor game.6 found this helpful

That being said, I LOVE Metal. If you don't like heavy metal as a genre, or you don't understand metal culture, you're probably not going to enjoy this game as much as someone who does. The game's plot is presented via slickly-done comics explaining what's going on and why your character is trying to save the world and metal community. I really like this choice, as so many indie roguelikes give you a two sentence plot summary and dump you into the world. The soundtrack absolutely slams with a variety of tracks in a variety of metal subgenres from REAL bands. By using actual bands, vs. in-house music production, it lends an authenticity to the game that literally makes it better. This isn't some gimmicky, soulless cash grab; it feels like the dev team understands what makes metal such a special and enduring genre. The graphics are acceptable – they've got a cel-shaded and rather low res look, …5 found this helpful
Positive review for the music alone.1 found this helpful
The gameplay progresses through stages and scenarios. Each one is cut down into small areas of a map or a general area, which makes most scenarios play out quickly and efficiently, but in return, you will be constantly loading the game while going into a new section of a map or a new scenario Music: Interesting choice of music. World design: The maps of this game are divided into realms, each with its own unique structures, environments, design, and features. Considering all aspects of the game, Metal tale : Overkill is a fairly competent game with a pretty interesting Plot. The gameplay is fun and features quite a few unique machines.1 found this helpful
