Metrogether Train Simulator

Broken. The chassis makes its way without the train. Walking in the train often ends up dropping through the floor. Irrational train controls (no neutral lever position).

wtf is this game. it has no objective and the point system is pointless. there is really nothing to do and so much potential for better gameplay

I bought this in the winter sale and gave it a play on live stream then again afterwards on a recorded session. You can drive trains that are not particularly realistic, check tickets and dispatch trains. The passenger model is pretty good the behavior is great much better than passengers in other train games. The game itself is simple, relaxing and intuitive. It certainly is not a serious simulator but I could see myself run some hours in this thing. Initially I thought it was not worth it, but now that I've found dispatch mode then I've changed my mind. The passenger models are quite course but the costumes are hilarious. What is even better (and so not PC - yay) is the titles of the passengers that turn up on the tickets. I'm sure there will be an uproar with some people but I can see it the way it is meant. If you're up for a bit of fun with trains and a busy simple guard mode and an intuitive dispatch mode then give it a try. Epic train game!!!!

After only 7 hours, I can say one thing for sure. This game [i]should not[/i] be this entertaining. While appearing and operating relatively simple, the pace of each type of role seems near perfect. You aren't left sitting around for too long, (end of the line is a good place to take a break, and grab a drink). The signalling stations are steady enough, that if you get into the rythm they just [i]flow[/i]. It's like a dumbed down version of SimRail, where you can either drive the train or signal them. It has the added benefit of being a ticket inspector, which unfortunately will take a bit of getting used to. That is my biggest gripe is that the models aren't always clear as to what "profession" or person type they are supposed to be and the tickets are based partially on that. But as you learn the models it gets easier. Honestly, grab some friends, and while the summer sale is active pick it up, give it a shot. You might just be surprised.
