About Train Fever
Build railways, stations, and transport lines to move passengers and cargo while watching procedurally generated cities evolve around your growing empire. Train Fever combines Transport Tycoon-style management with a grid-free world, realistic urban simulation, and 150+ years of historical vehicles for unparalleled creative freedom.
It’s the year 1850, and there are great times ahead! Establish a transport company and be its manager. Build infrastructure such as railways and stations, purchase transportation vehicles and manage lines. Fulfill the people’s needs and watch cities evolve dynamically.
Train Fever runs on an engine specifically developed for this game. The engine has a great innovative scope and is specialized in procedural content and urban simulation. A key point is the fact that there is no grid that game objects have to be aligned to, allowing for a great degree of freedom.

Immediately after buying this game I realize how good game it was but after 20 hours I realized is more complex than it seems and it requires some certain time to understand how it actually functions. I have spent around 160 hours trying to get all achievements and man, I had enough. I can tell that Transport Fever (the game after this) is 10 times better and has better mechanics than this particular game. I don't suggest buying this game and instead you get Transport Fever since while it could not be a bad game, almost for the same price you could get something better and you won't feel disappointed after some couple hours of playing. On the other hand, man this game has some sticky soundtrack I almost went insane finding goods production chains and passenger optimized lines lmao. 7/108 found this helpful
Do not buy this game. Buy one of their later versions of Transport Fever (1,2 or even 3 coming next month), This version is very outdated.2 found this helpful

A charming and ambitious transport simulation that focuses strongly on building and managing railway networks. It has a slower and more classic feel, but that is part of its appeal. Planning tracks, choosing vehicles, and helping towns develop through better connections makes the experience rewarding. Even if it feels simpler than newer games in the genre, it still offers a lot of enjoyment for fans of transport and railway management.1 found this helpful
This Feels Like a Funding Exercise It was pretty clear to me when this game released on Steam that it wasn't really being released as a complete game. It felt more like a way to raise funds for whatever the developer was working on next. What we got feels like the shell of a game rather than a finished experience. There's just not enough here to justify treating it as a proper release. Honestly, I'd rather go and buy the actual full game from the developer than spend money on what feels like a test or prototype that was put on Steam to generate funding. Big thumbs down from me.
