World-building RPG "Minable & Create" is an easy-to-understand 2D screen sandbox game.

Create your own village or town where you can place the found NPCs as friends!
If you raise the player's Lv, you can make items at high speed.

I always say all games are worth playing but this one just seems way to slow and rather blah. I have no idea what to do or where to go, the graphics are low end and could use some blending between regions. Not to mention some pointers to help guide you along within the game of Minable & Create! As for mining everything, yes you can but its so slow and painful, as for creating things I have yet to figure out how! While all that is said and done, I get very frustrated by games that charge 20$ plus for early access and offer next to nothing via content and hope to make it big. Games like these should try thinking small, providing value and building a clientele that rave about the product rather then giving free keys out and hoping to get word of mouth out for sales. So the final question would be, Is Minable & Create recommended? Blockhead NOT APPROVED!5 found this helpful
Minable & Create isn't the next RPGmaker-style Minecraft nor will it be the next Terraria but for a basic, somewhat-idyllic sandbox game, it does its job of entertaining its players well enough. Hold onto your wallets and keep an eye on this if you're interested.
Similar to those big-name games listed above, the game will have you explore the map, harvesting resources to turn into materials, and then into items that you can use. Crafting is pretty "open" here, meaning that you can immediately harvest and craft the highest-tier tool or item in-game right from the start - and you should, just to save time. There's really no point in crafting an iron axe when you could easily have crafted a gold one to use. But this "openness" brought some issues of its own, namely the issue of progression. I mean, yes you can earn exp by crafting - not by harvesting stuff though for some reason - and killing hostile creatures but leveling up doesn't seem to give you anything except more health and... is that mana?... or unlock anything new. Mayyybeee I got some more stats by leveling up and I didn't notice but what's the point of more stats when I can just bulldoze my way through a…3 found this helpful
I have been really enjoying the game. Cheers!2 found this helpful
Played this back in August for a few hours and here's my take. This is built in RPG Maker so the graphics are based on that, which is standard for the engine. The developer went for a 16-bit feel and they accomplished that. At the time, there was little direction on what to do and how to do anything so I spent time just wandering around; this can frustrate some players. Eventually after accessing the monument a few times I figured it out. Still, the whole crafting probably needs an overhaul to make it more user-friendly. The ability to reshape the world is a nice feature since you can literally rip up the ground and put down whatever you want, including making simple artwork. The game does get regular updates, but there is no roadmap so it is hard to know where the developer is going with the game. Cost of the game is on the edge of people ignoring it, considering how hard it is to figure out the beginning of the game and the basics. But at $19.99 USD you will get all the updates so you can play it again later on and see how it goes; but I have a feeling there will be people that will end up refunding it. Recommending it is hard, because even though this is an easy game to play…1 found this helpful
A rather interesting title, clearly inspired by games such as Minecraft and Terraria. I have watched this game get consistly updated, suggesting that it's a labor of love. The fact that the game is developed within RPG Maker is impressive in and of itself. They took the world creation tool of RPG Maker, condensed it down and gave it to the player. PROS Constantly being updated/improved Complete freedom Mostly easy to understand Achievements CONS Takes a moment for your eyes to adjust to all the pieces of material, NPCs, and enemies on screen in the beginning Somewhat aimless freedom At the start, the game is slow but as you upgrade your tools/weapons progress improves. The tutorial is helpful in learning the ropes and systems of the game. Before long, you too will be befriending NPCs and rebuilding the world! Overall I would honestly give the game a sideways thumb. It's not everyone's cup of tea but if you enjoy slower paced crafting games and want to support an indie developer/publisher, you might like Minable & Create.
