About Mix-A-Max
Mix-A-Max is an action packed beat-em up where our hero Max must use his wits and defective copies' interchangeable parts to thwart a rogue prototype version of himself who has turned a toy store into a plastic battleground. After being returned to the store, Max breaks out of the backroom to find the store completely overrun with hostile toys and his numerous counterparts turned against him. Using spare parts lying around or taken from defeated Maxes, you must traverse knocked over boxes, stocked shelves and well laid traps to ultimately reach your nemesis, defeat him and return the store back to its family friendly self!

This game honestly could use more work. Had trouble füçkîñĝ picking up new arms, and the final boss needed to be reloaded in order to actually fight him. The voice acting is...ugh,and on top of all that,if you know what you're doing, this game could take you less than 30 minutes. The multiplayer isn't out yet either. It's a shame because I want to like this game. It's a 3D platformer with interchangeable loadout mechanics. Punching arms? Check. Dart guns? Check. Helicopter blades to chop things up? Check, and there are many more arm combinations the devs could dream up. How about a shield arm that allows you to do a battering ram charge against the enemies? Ooh,or how about a spike arm that impales enemies to walls? I'm just thinking off the top of my head, but the devs should stick by their product. It may be a dollar, but that dollar is valuable. Simply because I can throw a dollar at a random game, doesn't mean I should. Quality control is the name of the game and with a little of that, this game could be something truly unbelievable.3 found this helpful
Concept is actually pretty cool, I can see a game getting fleshed out from it. Glad to see sumn toy themed that isn't another teddy bear game. Worth a dollar to support.2 found this helpful

A fun, nostalgic, little 3d platformer Pros: - audio is great - voice acting good - music is catchy and mesmerizing - art style fitting, well-done, and consistent - believable, immersive levels - animations well-done - difficulty and enemy variety ramps up nicely Cons: - though the lighting is nice, sometimes way too vibrant (eg, the robots' lasers) - levels too nebulous, feels like I got lucky finding the objectives - would be nice if enemy interactions were more forced or there were more easter eggs, i feel like i didn't really have to explore half the map or fight most of the enemies - music lacking during final boss fight1 found this helpful
