Max: The Curse of Brotherhood

This game is a hidden gem, I remember playing this game on my dads Xbox, sadly not everyone remembers it. I hope this game gets more recognition someday.

I am a huge fan of platform games and this is truly a great platform game. I played it on Xbox and now steam. I love the unique mechanics of the game, using a magic pen to create roots, vines and water as ways to help you progress. Honestly I haven't got a bad word to say about this game. Its very challenging and really charming.

Two thumbs way up for this classic sleigh ride across many landscapes, caves, ladders, bridges, ponds, lava pools, etc. in Max's quest to save his little brother from a villain. Excellent scenery, platformer situations, boss fights with assorted monsters and handy uses for the "magic marker" (in the true sense of the word). Tearing out the eyeball plants was a humorous side achievement, as well. I was enthralled from start to finish and, despite the child characters, found plenty of challenges for an adult, to boot! Can't rate this anything below 10/10.

90/100 Really fun platformer. The puzzles are fun, not too hard not too easy and the gameplay overall is enjoyable. BUG TIP: I played in dongle mode with a Gamesir controller, the magic marker bugs every 30-45 minutes, making me re-start the game and ruining the experience. In wired mode didn't happen.
