Momo's Eternal Adventure

Good game, but I refunded it since it's mosaic'd. It's a waste because the art is pretty good. Don't support censorship. UPDATE: the dev kindly removed mosaics for international players. I'm changing the rating to recommended since without mosaics the game is great! Interesting and elaborate gameplay mechanics, VA, great art, a lot of content and animated scenes. On a sidenote, any dev that does that for his customers deserves praise.

[h1][b]Momo's Eternal GRINDventure[/b][/h1] So before we begin, i'd like to mention that my playtime registered here is not my total playtime, as I have the original release purchased on DLsite, and I also run the exe in the folder, rather than through steam instead. Momo's Eternal Adventure is mostly a game about minor puzzle solving and resource management. All the resources you collect are used in some manner, such as upgrading skills, creating facilities, leveling up classes, etc. The reason this game is called Eternal Adventure is because the amount of grinding you have to do rivals that of Old School Runescape, Mabinogi, etc. With that preface, let us begin. [h1][b]The Story[/b][/h1] Not much to be said here, really. What little story there is isn't even spoiler-worthy, as you're basically told what you have to do in the first few minutes of the game. In short, there is no story(or so little that it doesn't even matter). The story is whatever the player makes of it, I guess. Explore dungeon, buy house, kill demon king, etc. Nothing remarkable. *** QUICK AND DIRTY START GUIDE *** Wander though the maze and pick up mag shards from the ground. Trade them in at the gem bushes for elemental crystals. Hoard resources to trade in at the investment stations that appear in the afterlife when you die. You will die a lot, don't sweat it. Keep making runs and gathering resources. Look out for healing herbs, healing is super important. Buy healing herbs from the nuns you come across when you can. THEN realize how much grinding you have to do to progress in the game and uninstall.

The game is NOT good, I read the incredibly detailed review saying it's a waste of money, time and everything in between but didn't think it would be THAT bad... It is. Read that one because it explains why the game sucks balls. Also don't be tempted by the trailer that maybe the art might be good... It's not. So I'll reiterate, DO NOT buy this game.

Compared to their other game this one is much more grindy, almost too much so. Seems like no matter how much stuff you come out of the dungeon with, you lose almost all of it when you exit. The map exploring is interesting with lots of cleverly designed maps but it almost feels like wasted effort when you reach the exit and come out with little more than what you started with. I recommend their other game over this one,

the gameplay is absolute garbage and the combat is almost none existant which is a shame because it looks ok
