About Mount Hill

A terrible accident at a nuclear test site has led to a radioactive cloud engulfing the suburbs.
Mount Hill citizens got stuck at ground zero of the infection zone, and were forced into quarantine.
The radiation poisoning is off the charts, and those lucky enough to survive started giving birth to hideously mutated, violence-prone offspring.
In an effort to cover up this disaster, the government ordered the military to wipe the whole area off the map.
Those who managed to escape moved to the hills, a place they now call home, where they can exact revenge for the crimes committed against them.
It doesn’t matter who they attack, the only thing that matters is that no one make it out alive.
These once peaceful citizens have been reduced to blood-thirsty mutants, craving nothing more than to kill.
Now that you’ve fallen into their trap, you have to beat all the levels, relying on your own tactics as the only chance for survival.
 • Every location has its own unique gameplay.
 • Enemies that act in unexpected ways.
 • Specially designed in-game audio essential to beating levels.
 • Study your enemy. The mutants are strong, but lack any real intelligence.
 • Move stealthily and tactfully, or get ready to run!

The scariest thing about this game is the nauseating motion blur combined with horrible textures and god awful lighting. It made me feel sick after playing only about 15 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IQoSq1ld2o The object is incredibly simple but the challenge comes from hving to be patient enough to push a cart on a track to break walls just a few feet and then run and hide and lure the pig-idiot in the squeaky wheelchair to your hiding spot, then sneak back to push the cart a few more feet before running and hiding again. Any person with an IQ of 10 or higher can easily figure out what to do, so the game isn't tough or challenging at all.. it's just a matter of patience and if you can stand the horrendous combination of terrible lighting, textures and notion blur to not start feeling sick. Based on my first 15 minutes before I had to step away from my computer, this game gets a 3 out of 10. And that is being generous, trust me. At $5, it's just a terrible value, and this game is barely better than most gameGuru games. Not recommended, unless you are trying to get sick to miss school or work tomorrow, than by all means, buy it and play it all night. And ev…

There's sadly not enough content to satisfy the 5 dollar price. I completed it after only about 30 minutes. This would have been okay, if the content that were actually there, were of any quality. Sadly this game is only a bunch of padding with collect a certain amount of items spread over 3 different section which are separated by two intermissions which both just exist to pad out the game and don't add anything special. In each section the goal is to collect a certain amount of items in order to progress, with two of them forcing you to walk back to the start area to place one of the items. While having some nice variations between the three sections, it's nothing special. In short, you'll get a 30 minutes experience which could have easily been 25 minutes due to all of the unnecessary padding. There's nothing to write home about the gameplay and it does not justify the 5 dollar price. This game would fit in well as a free game on gamejolt or itchio.

My thoughts are a little mixed with this, but I'll give it the recommendation due to the challenge. The swine was the roughest out of all the enemies to surpass, but I did follow through with studying the enemies and made easy progress. I do advise laying around some first aid items in case mistakes are made avoiding the enemies. If this had a level selection button on the main menu, then I would say that this would be worth the replay value. ABSOLUTELY adore the sequence after surpassing the wheelchair swine! Would love to see another battle like that in future projects! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpoO8Odu1rQ

Mount Hill is a simple walking simulator with a few weak jump scares. I was killed by a mutant pig in a wheelchair, which was apparently supposed to be creepy. The game isn't very long but the quality wasn't sufficient to make me want to keep playing.
This is not survival horror but a poorly made series of horror levels.
I spent $6 CAD on this and it was NOT worth it. At first it seems like a kinda cool (if imperfect) sort of horror game where you cannot defend yourself and have to avoid and use the level geometry to fake out the enemies. However, it is soon apparent after the first level that the dev has not played their own game. For if they had, they would know that it is incredibly annoying to play. The water level gives no warning other than a splash sound that the enemy is near. Problem is, if you're too close to it when it appears suddenly, it counts as catching you. No warning. And then there's a 3 minutes (Literally 180 seconds) where you have to avoid damage coming at your constantly and damage zones where you stand and die. It's a badly made game and I totally wasted my money on something I thought would be enjoyable, not frustrating, and with a really bad ending. Like, totally unfulfilling end. Hated it.
